The Anderson Public Library board and Children’s Department staff recently conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the re-opening of the newly remodeled Children's Department.
A new animal-themed mural welcomes visitors to the second-floor department. The remodel included new carpeting, paint and furniture. A new shelving system put the book covers at the child’s eye level. There is an enlarged space for activities and programming. Also, computers have been separated for use by different age groups.
